Hi there. I'm Gregor. I went to graduate school for electrical engineering at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I did my undergrad at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta. For those of you who care, I majored in signal processing at U-Mich, while concurrently dabbling in a little control theory . There are lots of pretty cool things that we can do with signal processing; just take a look at the Medical Computing Laboratory  run by Dr. Janice Jenkins, my former advisor and a damn cool lady.

So, if you clicked on the lab's web page, you will probably have noticed that we kick lots 'o ass in detecting various abnormal heart signals (arrhythmias). The big thing is for us to correctly recognize when a person has a dangerous episode of ventricular tachycardia (fancy for: a fast heart beat originating from the ventricles) or, God forbid, ventricular fibrillation (that's the thing you see in ER when the doctor grabs the shocking paddles and zaps the hell out of some poor bastard).

So, after all this you still ask yourself, "Who is Gregor?". That is a very good question. The answer is...I don't know.
